In recent years, the general population has become concerned about playing sports professionally or as an amateur, and with this, the dreaded injuries have appeared.

A high percentage of sports pathologies are associated with a bad sports gesture or biomechanical gesture. The podiatrist is the professional, who associated in an interdisciplinary way with other professionals, will work providing advice, diagnosis, treatment and support to our athletes in order to achieve the goal they set.

To do this, it is very important to work together with fellow nutritionists, physiotherapists or personal trainers, among others. Any factor associated directly or indirectly with our field of action as a chiropodist can influence the improvement of our sportsman or woman and the evolution of our treatment.

Knowing the novelties in sports shoes and specialized in the gesture to be made, specific products that bring us benefits in our sports practice, such as antifriction creams. As well as, the recommendation to carry out a periodic check-up of the foot during training, to avoid injuries such as blisters, ingrown nails or fungal lesions will provide an extra benefit in overcoming the day of the test.

Proof of this is our continuous training in this sector, among other courses we have the title of Biomechanics and Orthopodology at the University of Seville in 2015 and the title of Master in Sports Podology by the Catholic University of Valencia in 2018.

We bet for the collaboration of our team in different sport events located by the Spanish geography like: 101 KM RONDA, Maratón de Mágala, Doñana Trail Marathon, Zurich Maratón de Sevilla and Mapoma / Marathon and Media Maratón de Madrid
